About Me

I am Wenyun (Alina) Mao. I won't put my age and birthday here because my boyfriend wouldn't allow. Still, it is okay for you to know some basic things about me.

Now

As a prospective Master of Arts in Finance, I am confident about my career path. I do well in academia, and since finance demands real-world applications, I never neglect practical experiences. Activities are actively participated, projects are carefully conducted, and people are respectful treated.

Now, I am getting an internship at IKEA, which runs a world-wide furniture business. The environment, things and people are really nice, so I believe I will have a really good time there.

Anyway, I am sailing a boat loaded with happiness and heading towards success!

College

I recieved my bachelor degree in Finance at Nanjing Agriculture University. Don't judge the univeristy by its name. I came here with very good reasons - it has a good reputation among academia; I am very interested in modeling suburban economics and plus, not the dominate reason of course, my dream guy went to this university one year ahead of me.

Anway, I am a clever girl with intelligent decisions of my life path. I developed plenty of interests within these 4 years, e.g. dancing, singing, reading a book and dealing with people. Many of these skills will become really precious after entering into the society, as dancing keeps me charming; singing keeps me appealing; reading books can keep me wise and clear when I am dealing with people.

High school

"Older men declare war. But it is youth that must fight and die." It is a precise description about the youth of Chinese. College Entrance Exam, we've been hearing it since we came to this world. But it doesn't mean our youth is totally melancholy - it is a story of love, growth and striving.

I feel lucky about my time in High School Affilliated to Nanjing Normal University at Jiangning. I was loving and being loved. I was choosing and being chosen. I was remembering and being remembered.

The brushes lie in the middle of the main driveway and split it into half, soaking in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting right west to it is the playground, echoing with joyful voices. Bell rings. Suddenly visiting the campus is the silence. In classrooms, we painfully solve insane equations or analyze nonsense poems, yet enjoy little chats and gossips. These scenes can't be too common during school times, but now, they are the precious memories we mutually share.
